Cancellation policy
Consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
Engraved or individually tailored to the needs of the Customer-tailored products are excluded from returns, as they are clearly tailored to the customer's personal needs tailored to your needs.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Arac & Ilica GbR, Dr.-Hans-Wolf-Platz 1, 67069 Ludwigshafen, phone number: +49 176 21729987, email address: info@otanto.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of the withdrawal
If you revoke this contract, we will refund you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we received the notification of your revocation of this contract. For this refund, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees for this refund.
We can refuse the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us or to Otanto, Arac & Ilica GbR Dr.-Hans-Wolf-Platz 1 67063 Ludwigshafen without delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the 14-day period.
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling them beyond what is necessary to examine their condition, characteristics, and functioning.
Goods that are not returned in their original condition and in the original packaging are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
Exclusion or Termination Reasons
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts
- for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose manufacture an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;
- for the delivery of goods that can perish quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded;
- for the delivery of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed upon at the time of contract conclusion, but which can be delivered no earlier than 30 days after the contract conclusion and whose current value depends on fluctuations in the market over which the entrepreneur has no control;
- for the delivery of newspapers, magazines, or illustrated publications, except for subscription contracts.
The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of contracts
- for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery;
- for the delivery of goods, if these were inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery due to their nature;
- for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package, if the seal was removed after delivery.
