Warranty terms and conditions
Your statutory rights
In the event of defects, you have statutory warranty rights against the seller. Exercising these rights is free of charge. Our voluntary warranty applies in addition to these statutory rights and does not restrict them.
You may assert your statutory rights regardless of whether damage is covered by our warranty.
Our voluntary warranty
We provide a free two-year warranty for all pieces of jewelry purchased from OTANTO. Items received free of charge as complimentary gifts are excluded.
The warranty begins upon delivery of the piece of jewelry and applies in the recipient's shipping address.

What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers defects attributable to material or workmanship defects that occur within the warranty period.
If a warranty claim is valid, we will remedy the defect free of charge. For this purpose, at our discretion, we will provide you with a suitable replacement part or replacement item. We will cover the necessary shipping costs for processing the warranty claim.
What is excluded from the warranty?
The voluntary warranty does not cover:

damage caused by improper use or negligence, such as falls, impacts, or the application of excessive force;

damage caused by independent repairs or alterations to the piece of jewelry or its individual parts;

visual changes caused by normal wear or aging, such as scratches, discoloration, or wear of the coating;

mere dirt;

free gifts received at no cost.
These exclusions apply exclusively to our voluntary warranty. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
How to make a warranty claim
Write to us at service@otanto.de and describe the defect that occurred.
To help us identify and inspect it, please send us, if possible:

your name;

your order number or other proof of purchase;

a photo clearly showing the defect.
If you cannot provide a suitable photo, please contact us anyway. We will then coordinate with you how we can inspect the piece of jewelry.
After reviewing it, we will inform you about the next steps. If a return is necessary, we will provide you with the relevant instructions and a free shipping option.

Shipping takes 1 to 3 business days
You can use emojis and symbols like ♡ ∞ ☆ ✞ ॐ.
Simply copy and paste these into the engraving field (alternatively on a smartphone via the emoji keyboard). Please note that special characters are not engraved in color.
You can also specify your engraving in all languages and scripts.
Engraved or individually tailored products to the customer's needs are excluded from returns, as they are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the customer.
